Ather Energy’s family-oriented electric scooter, the Rizta, has surpassed 1 lakh unit sales in India within a year of its debut. Unveiled in April 2024 and launched in June 2024, the Rizta has quickly become a major contributor to Ather’s growth, now accounting for nearly 60% of the company’s total sales.
Designed for families, the Rizta blends practicality with modern features. It offers 56 litres of under-seat storage, a wide seat, a spacious floorboard, and advanced safety and connectivity technologies.
Key features include SkidControl traction control, Tow & Theft Alerts, Emergency Stop Signal, live location sharing, and onboard Google Maps navigation—powered by the AtherStack 6 system.
Commenting on the milestone, Ravneet Phokela, Chief Business Officer, Ather Energy, said, “Hitting the 1 lakh milestone with the Rizta is a big moment for us. The Rizta, which was built from the ground up with a focus on addressing the needs of Indian families, has played a key role in expanding our reach and connecting with a much wider set of customers.
